Michael enjoys working with young readers and writers in grades K-6. It’s often best if he can work with a classroom-sized group but he can present to assemblies as well.

Michael’s presentations will fascinate your students, incorporating many of the aspects of math, science, art, and creative writing you’re teaching in your classroom.

Conferences and professional development

Educators and librarians have enjoyed Michael’s highly visual and interactive presentations, including “Work is Play: Reflections on Science and Art” (STEAM-related), “Picture Books for All Ages,” and “The Language of Literacy.” Ranging from 40 minutes to three hours in length, his evaluations are consistently enthusiastic.
