Visiting schools (when it’s possible again)

Michael enjoys working with young readers and writers in grades K-6. It’s often best if he can work with a classroom-sized group but he can present to assemblies as well.

Conferences and professional development

Educators and librarians have enjoyed Michael’s highly visual and interactive presentations, including “Work is Play: Reflections on Science and Art” (STEAM related) and “The Language of Literacy.” Ranging from 40 minutes to three hours in length, his evaluations are consistently enthusiastic.
